Community Engagement/Fundraising position, one day a week   

Seeking an experienced person to lead our Community Eengagement/fundraising activities  

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join HFH to provide critical support to the program by Generating public awareness, community engagement and fundraising opportunities for the program, enabling our dynamic Equine Assisted Therapy program team to do it’s work, in assisting people and horses recover together from trouble in their lives.   

And to move towards our vision to; be a center of excellence, open to learning, courageous in reimagining services, challenging convention and generous in sharing our learnings, in the provision of therapeutic services, research and training 

Equine Assisted therapy is now a rapidly expanding field. Horses For Hope is one of the founding programs, having started from an idea, with the first trials in 2004.  

The highly regarded Horses For Hope, Equine Assisted Narrative Therapy model has been developed and refined continuously throughout.  

The program is in very now in strong demand and we need to be able to meet the needs of people needing our help and this position will be important in this process.     

Depending on appointments in other currently available positions, there may be potential for this position to be combined with the 2 days a week management position, to become 3 days a week. However this is not our starting preferred position with this appointment.
