Manager position 2 days a week.  

 

We are seeking person with comprehensive management skills to manage Horses for Hope Limited at Mooroopna (Near Shepparton) Vic. 

Reporting to the Board for performance of all aspects of the program’s operation, governance and compliance. 

Working in collaboration with the small dynamic team to maximize individual and team potential, program reach, capacities and resources with the aim of providing quality services to the people in the community who need this  service in particular and attain our vision to; 

  • be a centre of excellence, open to learning, courageous in reimagining services, challenging convention and generous in sharing our learnings, in the provision of therapeutic services, research and training 

Equine Assisted therapy is now a rapidly expanding field. Horses For Hope is one of the founding programs, having started from an idea, with the first trials in 2004.  The highly regarded Horses For Hope, Equine Assisted Narrative Therapy model has been developed and refined continuously throughout. The program is in very now in strong demand and needs to develop and expand to cater for this need.     

Depending on appointments in other currently available positions, there may be potential for this position to be combined with the 3 day a week senior therapist position or the 1 day a week Community Engagement/Fundraising position
