On Tuesday 18th of February the 2019 Tobin Brothers Foundation Awards were held at the Celebration of Life Chapel in North Melbourne. Cheques and plaques were presented to 12 successful applicants for their Community Grants.

Horses For Hope was among those favoured with Directors Anne Riddock and Bill Saunders attending. We received a cheque for $3,500 which will be used to support the feed bill for our 10 therapy horses.

Established in 1984 to mark the company’s 50th anniversary, the Tobin Brothers Foundation makes annual grants to organisations and individuals whose work can be shown to have meaningful “community benefit”. The Tobin Brothers Foundation underscores the company’s long term philanthropic commitment to assisting community projects in the areas where it operates.

The 2019 awards were presented by special guests from The Huddle – the community arm of the North Melbourne Football Club. An uplifting and enjoyable morning was had by all.
